Now reviewing TV too!!

I was talking to my sister the other day. She said "I love your reviews but you never talk about what is on TV". I reminded her  of the title of this blog, but that got me thinking. Why not? I love TV. I watch tons of shows. So I am going to do some quick reviews on shows premiering in the fall.

So you have a clue of what I like on TV, shows I cannot wait to come back are: Sons of Anarchy, Justified, NCIS, NCIS:LA, Survivor (yes I still watch that), New Girl, Glee, Big Bang Theory and a few dozen more.

Right now, I am going to give you my thoughts on 2 shows that premiered last night on NBC. First "Animal Hospital". This stars Justin Kirk (Weeds) and Joanna Garcia Swisher (Reba) as ex-lovers that work at you guessed it, an animal hospital. Kirk plays Dr. George Coleman, a great vet that loves animals and hates people. Swisher plays Dorothy, the granddaughter of the woman that opened the hospital. Rounding out the cast are a few character actors that play other doctors and nurses. The premiere episode had the classic comedy feel but I never really laughed. One thing I like about Kirk is his rapid fire rants he goes on. Not sure how well this is going to do.

Next up is "Go On", the latest attempt for Matthew Perry to get back to semi-stardom. He plays Ryan King, a sports radio talk host that recently lost his wife. In the first episode, Ryan is sent to group therapy before being allowed to go back to work. Within a first few minutes in the group, he set up a bracket system to find out who had the saddest story. This was funny! One of the group patients is the weird husband of Kristenth in "The Other Guys". As many of us do, Ryan uses his passion for sports and comedy to deflect his grief. I honestly laughed out loud several times during this show. A keeper for sure.
